Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in aging research for the Rutgers Parker Division of Geriatrics, a division in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health in Rutgers Health at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

This is a one-year position, with the option of renewing for a second year.

This full-time Postdoctoral Associate position will work as part of a collaborative team to facilitate implementation of research projects. Under the supervision of the Division Chief, the candidate will support research project coordination and implementation, including conducting participant interviews, coding and analyzing qualitative data, compiling quantitative descriptive statistics, summarizing project results, and drafting manuscripts. Additionally, as part of the Division’s ongoing partnership with Parker Health Group, the individual will also assist with processing, evaluating, and supporting requests from investigators to conduct research at Parker Health Group sites.

Candidates will have a demonstrated interest in aging research, specifically developing, assessing, and/or implementing practical, scalable solutions to improve the lives of older adults.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Assists in the coordination and implementation of research studies. Provides input on study design and implementation, develops analytic plans. Collects data including conducting interviews and focus groups and obtaining responses to survey questions. Maintains research records for enrolled participants. Receives, reviews, and evaluates requests for research collaborations with an external community partner from investigators internal and external to Rutgers. Assesses staffing and coordination needs of research collaboration requests. Coordinates with external community partners to facilitate approval of and implementation of proposed research projects.
