Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the Neurosurgery department at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a graduate of a MD or PhD program preferably with a background in basic sciences, particularly in skull-based Neurosurgery. This individual will work under the supervision of Dr Anil Nanda.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Reviews ongoing research protocols for the Neurosurgery department and for publication purposes. Reviews and edits recorded surgeries for future teaching purposes. Develops new proposals for research-related neurosurgery. Presents at research meetings and educational conferences/grand rounds held within the department. Provides regular updates to the editorial staff regarding the status of manuscripts in preparation. Understands and adheres to legacy UMDNJ compliance standards as they appear in the Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keeps abreast of all federal, state, and Rutgers University regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
