Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ).

The Postdoctoral Associate position is available at CINJ to conduct research on tumor immunology with a focus on the discovery and development of T cell therapy for cancer, including tumor infiltrating lymphocytes and gene-engineered T cells. Postdoctoral Associates are expected to establish an innovative, collaborative research program addressing important and fundamental questions. Active areas of research include T cell receptor discovery, membrane-tethered cytokine technologies, tumor resistance mutations, target antigen discovery, and preclinical development of new TCR-based treatments. Interdisciplinary and translational approaches are encouraged. Qualified candidates must be in the process of completing or have finished the training for their Ph.D. and/or M.D. Candidates must provide proof all requirements have been fulfilled before their position start date. 

Among the key duties for this position are the following:
Conducts multidisciplinary research in the area of tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy with a focus on the discovery and development of T cell therapy for cancer, including tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and gene engineered T cells. Prepares written reports of the research experiments. Prepares grant proposals based on the research conducted. Gives oral presentations of the research. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
