The Materials Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory is hiring a postdoctoral appointee for investigating ion transport as a function of material structure and extent of hydration in polymer electrolyte materials. The role will require the individual to collaborate with other experimentalists, such as those engaged in polymer synthesis and x-ray scattering, in addition to working researchers performing molecular modeling and machine learning activities. The candidate will be expected to perform ion conductivity experiments with thin film polymer electrolytes. The candidate will use lithography to fabricate new testing platforms to measure the hydroxide ion conductivity of thin film anion exchange polymer electrolytes.
