Position Title:Postdoc Research Associate - Swine Nutrition Appointment Type:Post Doc/Trainee Job Description:Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: The Swine Applied Innovations Lab at Iowa State University is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team focusing on swine nutrition, management, and the application of digital technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing methods to study nutritional strategies, designing, conducting, and analyzing swine nutrition and management trials, with emphasis on enhancing nutrient utilization and integrating digital tools (e.g., sensors, computer vision, AI) into swine production systems to improve pig livability, welfare, and sustainability. This position provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, publish in peer-reviewed journals, present at conferences, and contribute to applied research directly impacting the swine industry. --- Key Responsibilities: + Design and execute studies in swine nutrition and the adoption of digital technologies. + Analyze data and prepare technical reports, scientific manuscripts, and presentations. + Collaborate with academic and industry. + Supervise graduate and undergraduate students as needed. + Contribute to grant writing and external funding proposals Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
