Postdoc (Head and Neck) - Contract - Philadelphia, PA
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Postdoctoral researcher.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role is to work at the intersection of cancer biology, immunology and molecular epidemiology for HPV-related head and neck cancer. This role offers the opportunity to join an interdisciplinary mentorship team and lead projects designed to have a high clinical impact.
Skills & Requirements:
Background in cancer biology, immunology, virology, cellular metabolism, stem cell biology and genetics.Advanced training in data science and bioinformatics is highly desirable.Ability to work onsite daily, with potential for a hybrid schedule in the future.
The Postdoc's responsibilities will be:
Conduct research on the role of differences in viral and host gene expression and function among HPV+ cancers in determining their divergent therapy responses.Investigate mechanisms that limit tumor replication stress to promote direct and immune-mediated clearance of HPV+ cancers.Develop prognostic and predictive molecular biomarkers for HPV-related cancer from comparative multi-omic analyses.
