Key Responsibilities:
You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be deliveredYou'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to nextThe role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 8 miles per day. You will also be required to carry a post bag, delivering letters and parcelsDriving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a post trolley during deliveriesKey Requirements:
MUST hold a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points. (a clean license is preferred)Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatoryExcellent time management and organisational skillsStrong communication and customer service abilitiesA commitment to safe and responsible driving practicesWorking outdoors in all weathers is requiredAble to work 5 days out of 7 including potential day at the weekend
