The School of Business Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand is opening four (4) prestigious Post-Doctoral Fellowship positions in the fields of Human Resource Management and Management, Information Systems, Insurance and Risk Management and Finance related aspects, and Marketing. We are seeking exceptional individuals who have completed their doctoral studies in these fields within the last five years. Applicants should demonstrate abilities to publish high-quality articles in accredited national and international journals.

Brief Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Join us at the forefront of innovative research in Business Sciences within our four Divisions: Human Resource Management and Management, Information Systems, Insurance and Risk Management and Finance related aspects, and Marketing. This one-year position is renewable, and under the guidance of a mentor within one of the four Divisions, you are expected to:

Co-author and publish at least two journal articles per year. Participate in related research and capacity-building projects within your mentor s Division. Adhere to Wits University's policies, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

Skills and Requirements:

A PhD in either Human Resource Management and Management, Information Systems, Insurance and Risk Management and Finance related aspects, or Marketing, obtained within the last five years. The specific area of your PhD or a related field should align with one of these disciplines. Demonstrated expertise in publishing articles in reputable, accredited, peer-reviewed national and international journals. Provide six (6) hours per week of academic or supervision services to the school. Exceptional writing and presentation skills.

Strong research conceptualisation abilities.

Expected Output:

Produce a minimum of two peer-reviewed DHET-accredited journal articles per annum. Assist with postgraduate student supervision as required.

Remuneration:
