The Animal Functional Genomics and Epigenetics group at the University of Maryland College Park now has a postdoctoral associate position available for an enthusiastic and driven scientist wishing to pursue research to pinpoint the causal regulatory elements and dynamic mechanisms in chicken development The candidate will develop their abilities in performing integrative omic data analyses and in fostering gene transcription gene regulation and protein translation in a temporospatial manner The position will require maintaining active research projects under the supervision of the PI including experimentation data analysis troubleshooting preparation for publication and mentoring new trainees In addition the postdoc will perform various functions vital for the day to day operation of the laboratory including ordering supplies overseeing maintenance of equipment organizing lab materials providing support for animal experiments and administrative support as needed
