Post Doc - Analytical Development Biologicals

**The Position**
We are seeking you as a highly motivated and innovative Postdoctoral Scientist to join our Analytical Development Biologicals department located in Biberach, Germany. Drive projects related to establishing a novel long-acting dosage form for biological molecules. Your contributions and expertise will benefit patients with a currently unmet medical need.
This position is limited to two years.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
+ In your new role, you will develop and optimize analytical technologies for an injectable long-acting dosage form for example microparticles, hydrogels as well as depots for biologicals.
+ In regard to your position, you will identify and implement novel and state-of-the art analytical technologies to extend the current available method portfolio for release and characterization measurements.
+ Furthermore, you will test developed analytical methods and provide concepts for stability studies according to current ICH guidelines.
+ Moreover, you will define critical quality attributes (CQAs) for long-acting dosage forms.
+ You will be the main contact person to take lead in project planning, study execution, and implementation of your results.
+ Moreover, you will collaborate with internal and external formulation, analytical, and process experts.
**Requirements**
+ Doctoral degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related disciplines
+ Broad experience in different analytical methods and willingness to explore new technologies for long-acting formulations; proven expertise in the fields of long-acting injectables formulation is a plus
+ Good understanding of biopharmaceutical drug product manufacturing processes and corresponding analytical testing strategy
+ Outstanding organizational and analytical skills and an open, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
+ Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
+ Fluency in English, preferably with a very good command of German
