Description
This person will be joining the finance team for a clinical research group within a world class academic research institution specifically within their department of Psychiatry. In this role this individual will be responsible for financial support for 10 Principle Investigators within the department. Responsibilities include budget review/analysis, financial analysis, variance analysis, financial reporting and proposal support as well as supporting journal entries and month end process.
Responsibilities:
Financial analysis and reporting
Budget review/analysis
Variance analysis and reporting
Provide support for the journal entry process
Provide financial information and support for proposal creation
Support ad hoc requests for their \"task force\" related to funding changes and impacts due to government funds being frozen
Will receive specific requests from the head of their department and compile data and findings into a spread sheet about areas which could be impacted(DEI etc.)
Answer questions about impact of funding to provide leadership with insight about the impacts of funding changes
Support research about various scenarios based on funding changes
Support the Consolidated budgeting process for April deadline
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance
2+ years of prior Grants/Financial Analyst experience in a research Org
Excel- VLook Up, Pivot tables
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.07/hr.
