Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM LATAM is seeking for an experienced Ports Market Segment Lead to be based out of our LATAM offices or Miami, USA** **The responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Help build a strong and thriving culture in the Goods Movement practice that promotes equity, diversity, & inclusion, ESG, and innovation, while preserving technical excellence in our core competency + Ensures unflinching customer focus. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep customer insight, ensure a client driven culture, spearhead and support market-focused solutions + Collaborate with senior leadership team in the LATAM Transportation Business Line on driving strategic growth initiatives throughout the region in the Goods Movement practice. (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Sustainability, Digital, and others) + In collaboration with the global business line, senior leadership, develop and own the long-term vision for sustained growth of AECOM’s Goods Movement business in the LATAM + Oversee the capture process for key pursuits in Goods Movement to ensure best practices are being adhered to, and continuously improve capture results + Evaluate Goods Movement opportunities and determine which to pursue based on client understanding, pre-positioning, alignment with overall growth strategy, and AECOM strategic position + Oversee the client account management program for key clients in Goods Movement to ensure active management + Collaborate with local leadership across the LATAM and organize civic engagement activities and be responsible for budgeting and tracking business development and civic spend + Be responsible for holding regular Goods Movement business development meetings with all relevant stakeholders and ensuring frequent and regular communication + Potential to be project manager and principal on key projects in the Goods Movement market + Track potential client project needs and capital planning programs throughout the LATAM region, specifically large and medium hub airports + Coordinate with internal resources and other business lines to promote overall market sector growth with our local clients + Coordinate with LATAM Delivery / Operations teams to ensure delivery processes are in place to produce the desired results at a project execution level + Coordinate with PMs to drive and support program and project results on a day to day basis, to meet technical and business objectives. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience in the Goods Movement sector or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 years in a leadership role + Demonstrated Business Development experience in Goods Movement sector at C-Levels with public and private clients + Strong network in LATAM Goods Movement market + Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams + Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience + Strong knowledge about different financial and delivery models of projects + Strong financial acumen and able to evaluate proposals, business drivers and KPIs of projects during delivery. + Experience in business case elaboration and analysis in order to propose innovative approaches to clients. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 20+ years of relevant experience + Experience in business development, and strong existing relationships with Goods Movement clients in Latin America + Experience on technical delivery and business leadership side of Goods Movement sector + Strong understanding of best practices in business development for professional services + Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision + Ability to communicate problems clearly and simply to clients, leadership, and technical staff + Ability to balance various project and company responsibilities and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and quality **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available + Sponsorship assistance is not available for this position now or in the future. **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
