\n \n Job Description

A Portfolio Community Manager is responsible for providing theoverall supervision of assigned community association(s). The Portfolio Community Manager interacts withinternal and external customers including homeowners, vendors, board members and committeemembers, as well as staff at the Associa Client Shared Service Center (CSSC) and within the branchoffice.

Daily responsibilities:

\n

\n\nTravel to multiple community sites to oversee the operation and administration of the Association in accordance with management agreement and the Association's policies and procedures.\nActs as or oversee the primary liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners
as needed.\nReview monthly financial reports and ensure management summary is submitted to the association Board of Directors.\nProvide and/or oversee recommendations to the Association Board of Directors and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desiredcommunity appearance and operation.\nMonitor corporate and client delinquency rates and collections process for account portfolio.\nPrepare Board packages, facilitate and attend Board meetings per the management agreement and community events as needed.\nEnsure Board of Directors is aware of legal actions involving the Association.\nMaintain unit and contract files relating to the operations of the Association.\nAssist Board of Directors/ARB with architectural review process and/or routine inspections as necessary.\nAssist with RFPs, bidding, and vendor selection process. Make recommendations to The Board.\nResponsible for oversight of Associa staff as contract provides.\nCoordinate and/or oversee inspection of building facilities and/or common area and arrange appropriate follow up actions as required.\nOversee the AP process in accordance with Associa home office processes and procedures.\nOther duties as assigned. \n\n Requirements\nAssociates Degree Required; Bachelors Degree Preferred.\n3+ years of Community Association management experience.\nCMCA, AMS, or PCAM highly desired.\nKnowledge of the role of the association board, the Community Association Manager, and howthose roles interface with the requests of homeowners.\nProfessional customer service skills, communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.), and conflict resolution techniques.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nExcellent project management abilities, strong time management and time critical prioritization skills.\nKnowledge of business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) and MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\n\n
