Job Scope: + Lobby maintenance + Clean common areas like kitchens, cafeterias and offices + Vacuum all carpeted rooms and mop non-carpeted floors + Monitor and service restrooms, refill soap dispensers, toilet paper rolls, toilet seat covers and paper towels in bathrooms + Remove trash and debris + Meeting setup/tear down + Wipe down desks/file cabinets, etc. in all offices + Be aware of universal precautions and proper procedures for cleaning up hazardous spills + Performs other cleaning functions, as needed. Qualifications + Minimum of High School diploma or GED + Previous experience as a cleaner/porter + Basic construction, electrical and plumbing skills a plus + Understanding of federal and state building safety standards + Knowledge of OSHA universal precautions + Clean and valid NYS driver’s license required + Eligible Drivers – Minimum Standards As Set Forth By Our Insurance Provider: + No employee drivers under the age of 21. + No drivers who have been licensed for less than three (3) years, regardless of age. + No drivers who have only an international or foreign license. + No drivers who are not licensed in the state where (s)he resides within the time required by the state. This applies to those states that require drivers to be re-licensed within a certain time period. Position Status This is a full-time non-exempt position . 11:00am to 7:00pm Monday – Friday Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and outside in the field.. Must be able to travel among assigned sites and locations as needed.
