Assists in the maintenance, repair or replacement of industrial size electric motors, wire rope reeving systems, gear reducers, and hydraulic systems using maintenance manuals, schematics and diagrams. Assists with miscellaneous metal repairs, surface preparation for painting, brush and spray painting, and high pressure cleaning. Lubricates bearings, pins, gear works and other critical components of cranes. Assists in the maintenance or replacement of lighting ballasts, bulbs and fixtures. Assists in the installation and repair of nonmetallic cables, thin wall or rigid conduit.
