Short Description

Develop and oversee the strategic direction of the payer value-based programs.
Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Work to complete projects within agreed upon timeframes, identifying, and escalating any risks, mitigation plans and constraints.
Work closely with business and clinical partners, Informatics, and IT staff to create tactics, approach, and timelines for projects, focusing on clinical/business process improvements to support VBC metrics.
Support change management processes to facilitate smooth transitions in the organization.
Contribute ideas for enhancing value-based programs and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Assist in data collection and analysis related to value-based metrics.
Patient chart review, validation of quality measures, and partnership with practice operations to support quality improvement.

 

Support Cooper’s success in value-based programs through program and project management.  
• Manage or support process improvement initiatives that deliver measurable results in our payer programs in partnership with project sponsors, process owners and other team members.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate and implement standardize workflows, transform processes and progress from volume to value.

Experience Required

3 to 5 years’ experience must be healthcare program management related

Education Requirements

BS/BA preferably in business, healthcare, operations, nursing. Master’s degree in healthcare/finance/organizational development preferred. 

License/Certification Requirements

Lean Six Sigma Yellow, Green or Black Belt -Preferred
Change agent -Preferred
Project management Preferred
