Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Pool Attendant to join our team at a luxurious resort in beautiful Koh Samui, Thailand. As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment of our guests at our pool facilities.

Monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce pool rulesPerform regular pool maintenance tasks, including water testing and chemical balancingClean and sanitize pool decks, furniture, and surrounding areasAssist guests with pool-related inquiries and provide excellent customer serviceSet up and maintain pool equipment, such as loungers, umbrellas, and towelsRespond promptly to emergencies and provide basic first aid when necessaryMaintain a neat and professional appearance at all timesAssist with special events or activities held in the pool area

QualificationsStrong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues if neededKnowledge of pool maintenance and water safety proceduresExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitudeBasic English language proficiency for communicating with international guestsHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Previous experience in hospitality or pool maintenance preferredAbility to work in a tropical climate and stand for extended periodsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysDetail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organizationTeam player with the ability to work collaboratively in a resort environment
