Four Seasons Hotel Miami is looking fora Pool and Restaurant Host/ess who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our employees have the opportunity to shape our guests experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned organization.
The position will greet and seat guests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
What you will do
Set up the host/hostess stand, review the reservation book, and provide recommendations for the pool deck setup.
Inspect and enhance the cleanliness of each pool section, ensuring proper lounge setup before opening.
Check and maintain the condition and appearance of menus and lists.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of menus, ingredients, and daily availability.
Assign seating while considering service standards.
Familiarize yourself with server stations, daily assignments, timing patterns, and maximum workload capacity.
Greet guests promptly, courteously, and graciously with eye contact, a smile, and good posture.
Seat reservations promptly at a pre-set lounge for the specified party size.
Immediately address guest dissatisfaction and report actions taken to the manager.
Answer telephones according to Four Seasons' standards, taking reservations or providing information about the restaurant or other hotel services.
