THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Poker Shift Manager to direct and supervise all personnel assigned to the Poker Room on a daily basis.  The Poker Shift Manager must have knowledge of all Bravo Poker applications and coordinate and run Poker Tournaments using Bravo Tournament Watch. They are responsible for conducting investigations, mediating, and finding effective resolutions to any issues guests may experience.

THE STARTING RATE:  $33.00

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of poker games during a defined shift

Maintain compliance with New Jersey Casino Control Commission regulations all departmental and Company Policies

Ensure that gaming policy & procedures are maintained

Answer customer questions about the Poker Room and all promotions

Amicably resolve customer concerns in a fast-paced environment

Promotes positive public relations and creates an enjoyable atmosphere for all customers

Operate all aspects of Bravo/Genesis software

Input player information into Patron Management software

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

High school diploma or equivalent

Two (2) years of poker supervisory or management experience

Complete knowledge of common rules and procedures of all Poker games

General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

Able to lead and mentor a team

Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
