About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Responsibilities This is a developmental position. If the selection should be at the lower grade level the incumbent will perform duties under closer than normal supervision. Assignments become progressively more difficult until the full performance level is reached. Apply a working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical and mechanical principles to disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test fuel control subassemblies. Conduct visual inspection for obvious defects such as scratches, corrosion or bent or broken parts of subassemblies. Replace or rework damaged parts. Assist journeyman mechanics on complex hydromechanical/pneumatic fuel control systems in the T-53/T-55/T-63, and/or T-700 Overhaul Fuel Control Shops.
