PMO Lead, Quality Assurance

The PMO Lead, Quality Assurance, will manage quality assurance project and program management activities globally, providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure effective governance, standardization, and execution. This role includes the development and maintenance of the QA project management framework, resource allocation, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement of QA practices. The QA Program Management Office (PMO) Lead will collaborate with senior leadership, QA teams, and cross-functional departments to align projects with the organization’s strategic objectives and regulatory requirements, driving successful outcomes. This strategic role involves defining and implementing governance and framework for quality assurance projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational quality standards. The QA PMO Lead will oversee projects to ensure they are executed efficiently, meet compliance standards, and support the organization’s strategic goals.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

Governance and Framework Development Define, develop, and implement the QA project and program management governance framework. Establish policies, procedures, templates, and standards for QA project management in compliance with global business and regulatory requirements. Establish PMO metrics and report to management. Ensure adherence to governance standards across all QA projects. Regularly review and update the governance framework to align with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and organizational needs. Strategic Planning and Alignment: Align QA PMO objectives with the organization's strategic goals and quality assurance priorities. Develop a strategic roadmap for QA project and program management activities. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure QA project and program alignment with business and regulatory objectives. Collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects. Collaborate on projects strategies, approach, workstreams and overall structure and timeline of key initiatives. Analyzing financial data including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation. Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.  QA Project and Program Oversight: Provide oversight and support for all QA projects including project interdependencies to ensure they meet governance and compliance standards. Establish project status forums, including managing logistics and ensuring all parties are apprised of actions and decisions. Actively Monitor cross-workstream and program-wide dependencies, project performance and adherence to established frameworks and methodologies. Facilitate QA project and program audits and reviews. Track and monitor project metrics and reporting. Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation and utilization across QA projects. Develop and maintain a resource management plan. Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders and utilize strong change leadership skills.  Engage with key stakeholders to communicate the benefits and importance of the QA PMO. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on QA PMO activities and project statuses. Manage stakeholder expectations and foster a collaborative project environment.
