Purpose: The PMO Governance Analyst will report directly to the Senior Manager, MTSC Digital Project Management Governance & Standards Lead and is responsible for assisting the Project Management Office (PMO) in ensuring adherence to project management standards and governance frameworks. This role involves supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of governance processes, as well as providing analytical support to ensure project compliance and effective resource management. You will be responsible for: + Governance Framework Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Ensure that project management practices align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. + Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular audits and reviews of project documentation to ensure compliance with governance standards. Identify and report any deviations or non-compliance issues. + Resource Management: Support resource allocation and utilization processes. Monitor resource data and assist in the preparation of resource reports and analytics. + Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform data analysis to generate insights on project performance, resource utilization, and compliance. Prepare and present reports to PMO leadership and stakeholders. + Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and the PMO. Prepare and distribute governance-related documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and compliance updates. + Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the PMO governance framework. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices to enhance governance and compliance. + Training and Support: Assist in the preparation of training materials and provide support in training project team members on governance processes and tools. + Playbook Maintenance: Maintain and update the PMO playbook to ensure it reflects current best practices, processes, and standards. + KPI Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of project management practices and governance processes. + Change Control Board Processes/Support: Support the Change Control Board (CCB) processes by processing change requests, tracking approvals, and ensuring CCB approvals are documented and communicated effectively. + PMO Reporting: Generate and distribute regular PMO reports, including PMO KPI’s, Change Control Board summaries, assist with resource utilization reports, and compliance summaries. **Qualifications** Qualifications: + A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. + A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management, governance, or a related role. + Experience with governance frameworks and compliance processes is preferred. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Reporting tools (i.e PowerBI) and familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA). + Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in governance documentation and compliance reports. + Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. + Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to achieve governance objectives. + Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing governance requirements and priorities Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with governance frameworks and compliance processes is preferred. + PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
