POSITION SUMMARY

Maintain store operations by conducting preventative maintenance and repairing Convenience Store equipment; performs general maintenance work in stores.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED preferred3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance field1-2 years’ experience in plumbing or HVAC/refrigeration preferredMust have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be insurable as a driverAble to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independentlyHighly organized and work well under pressure/deadlines with the ability to multi-taskPHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to crouch, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop and/or reachAbility to carry, erect and climb laddersAbility to lift up to 80 pounds

Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and performing preventative maintenanceMaintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, lighting.Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needsEnsures preventative repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports operating practices and other documentationParticipate in training classes for existing and new equipmentEnsures maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operation policies and proceduresContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededMaintain a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesMaintains safe and healthy work environment by abiding to safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements
