PM Supervisor

About the opportunity

The Supervisor will lead a team of staff to deliver against agreed budget and performance outcomes. The Supervisor will facilitate the continued improvement of onsite processing operations by analysing current performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing improvement action plans in conjunction with peer Supervisors and the Facility Manager. This role is focused on delivering continual efficiency improvement at the lowest possible cost in the pursuit of service excellence.

You’ll also

•   Lead and manage an operational team to deliver on required safety, service and productivity performance outcomes.

•   Lead a culture of safety that is consistent with StarTrack’s safety leadership values, role modelling and managing compliance to safety, health, environmental policies and procedures.

•    Lead an informed and engaged team through regular clear toolbox talks on matters such as business updates and changes, and reinforcement of operational practices and policies.

•    Positively affect the behaviour of others, motivating them to be the best they can be, and enabling them to achieve a sense of purpose and spirit of cooperation.

•    Monitor the allocation of resources and direct the reassignment of resources to match changing requirements during shifts.

 

About you

We’re looking for candidates that have the demonstrated energy and drive to bring out the best in the people under their leadership. If coaching and mentoring is something you thrive on we’d love to hear from you. 


You’ll also have

•    Experience within the logistics/freight industry, Degree in Logistics is desirable.

•    Experience monitoring compliance with safety policies and procedures.

•    Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.

•    Truck and/or Forklift License is advantageous but not essential.
