Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Plumber to join our team, supporting a dynamic US government client. In this role you must exercise good interpersonal and technical skills while adhering to required safety standards and building code.

What You'll Be Doing:

Installs, repairs, and maintains pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential buildings.Follows blueprints, building plans, and sketches to meet the needs of clients.Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.Inspects and tests plumbing systems for leaks and other issues.Adheres to safety regulations.Collaborates with other construction professionals, including electricians and carpenters, to ensure plumbing systems are integrated properly.Assists in the installation of sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.Works directly with project managers and other construction professionals to review plans and make recommendations for improvements.Assists in coordinating specific project schedules by working with other plumbers, laborers, and required construction resources. Reviews and verifies materials to ensure conformance to project specifications.Serves as part of a functional team or works independently to complete assignments according to scheduled deadlines.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position, as appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

 8+ years of related work experience in plumbing, including installation, maintenance, and repair.Demonstrated proficiency in the use of hand tools and power toolsDemonstrated proficiency in the use of plumbing tools and equipmentAccuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and clarity in conformance with required job duties and safety standards.
