Key Responsibilities Lead the shift operations for PLC Controls and Automation. Provide technical support to the site O&M team for troubleshooting. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance. Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and implement improvement measures. Develop and install programs using automation software and custom coding languages. Troubleshoot system errors to minimize downtime. Document development processes to ensure system reliability and scalability. Qualifications Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Formal training and certification in PLC programming and system troubleshooting from an OEM. Experience 5+ years of experience in automation systems, including design, device selection, installation, commissioning, and testing. 3+ years of solid expertise in PLC programming, support, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Siemens PLCs and associated products. Extensive knowledge of control panel components, drives, SCADA, DCS, and plant visualization systems. Experience with interfaces like PLC-IT, analog, and digital interfaces. Hands-on experience in baggage or material handling systems is a strong advantage. Skills Analytical problem-solving with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills in English and local language. Leadership, team building, and presentation skills. Knowledge of local and international standards for automation systems.
