SUMMARY

Responsible for the supervision of the club, to include service functions of the players club, execution of club promotions and events, and ticketing system for entertainment efforts. This role will assist the Players Club Manager in ensuring the success of the Players Club and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:  

Providing each guest with information/services as an ambassador, a resource, an aide, and a guide throughout the casino amenities, events, promos, and entertainment to ensure service satisfaction.  Enforce performance standards, policies, and procedures in accordance with company mission and objectives. Assists manager in developing new ways to merchandise and grow club membership and loyalty. Supervises the process to distribute players club membership forms to guests and assists guests in completing the membership form. Explain how the card works and the benefits of the players club to Guests and Associates. Maintain strong knowledge of the software functionality of players club system for completing duties: setting up new members, maintaining Guest account, redemption of points, accuracy in keying and coding for tracking purposes. Enforce policy/practice to players club, marketing promotions, coupon redemption, and complimentary offerings. Excellent communication skills and good relations with all other departments. Must be readily accessible to fellow Associates during the assigned shift. Coordinates the activities of Associates on assigned shift, ensuring smooth and efficient service is provided to Guests. Held accountable to a high degree for maintaining confidentiality of Guest and Associate information.  Resolves problems within the operation by listening to ideas, probable solutions and addressing potential conflicts. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of property facilities/amenities as well as current and upcoming special events, promotions, and entertainment in order to inform guests and Associates. Ensures that a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction in the operation of the players club is achieved and maintained professionally and consistently. Ability to research and solve problems with a Guest accounts. Issues complimentaries to guests when an appropriate level of play has been established. Must be flexible with all scheduling needs to ensure adequate supervisory coverage and assists with scheduling and monitoring of staffing levels for frontline associates. Responsible for timely completion of performance reviews of designated associates. Maintains accurate records and regularly reports relevant information to manager. Redeems promotional coupons and cash points at Guests request. Regularly inspects/track inventories of player’s club printed material, promotional items and restocks as needed. Assists with the execution and supervision of casino promotions, events, and entertainment.  Maintains and completes Associates time clock report: ensure an accurate account of hours worked. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma, general education degree (GED) or ability to pass our Basic Skills Assessment. AA degree in a marketing or related field and/or; a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training in casino marketing, sales and/or guest service, promotions or hospitality, or, an equivalent combination of education and experience required.  Or successful completion of a related company approved development placement program. Two (2) years’ experience working with players club and players tracking program required. One (1) year supervisory experience required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Talk and hear; ability to communicate effectively. See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision; Stand, walk, sit, (up to 8 hours) balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl; Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands. Be able to lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to:

A low-to-moderate noise level (offices). A moderate-to-loud noise level (public areas).

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority. Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s). Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
