**Job Title: Plating Operator** **Job Description** Founded in 1954, CRC is an AS9100 and NADCAP-Certified, ITAR-registered single-source metal finishing service provider for the aerospace, defense, medical, semiconductor/electronics, space, and heavy equipment industries. The Plating Operator will rack and process Electroless nickel plating line to process aerospace grade parts through a series of chemical tanks to clean, rinse, and deposit nickel on parts to improve their quality. Responsibilities include setting and maintaining chemical processing equipment and baths within operational parameters, cautiously loading racks in plating tanks while ensuring proper temperature and chemistry, computing the length of the plating cycle and monitoring timing, and observing gauges and adjusting valves on tanks to maintain required operating specifications. Additionally, the Plating Operator will read blueprints and job card documents to produce and move products according to customer specifications, follow workflow dispatch, report quality issues, assist Quality and Lab Personnel in running chemical process evaluations, perform preventative maintenance, maintain a safe work environment, use all required Personal Protective Equipment, perform minor equipment maintenance, and inventory, receive, and sign for incoming plating materials and supplies.
