Job Title: General Plate Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a General Plate Operator with plating experience for our large metal finishing facility located in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a second shift position, working from 2pm to 10:30pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various plating and coating processes to ensure high-quality and timely completion of customer orders.

ResponsibilitiesPerform electrodeposited and electroless plating processes.Conduct chemical conversion coating and passivation.Carry out mechanical cleaning and coating removal.Follow all safety policies and procedures.Perform receiving inspection including count, visual inspection, and verification of completion of previous operations.Maintain a clean and organized department daily.Process parts in accordance with customer requirements, procedures, work instructions, and job traveler to ensure high-quality and conformity.Complete orders as per the production schedule.Complete all necessary processing paperwork accurately.Perform in-process inspections to ensure 100% quality and on-time delivery for customer orders.Essential SkillsExperience in plating processes such as electrodeposited and electroless plating.Knowledge of chemical conversion coating and passivation.Ability to perform mechanical cleaning and coating removal.Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality.Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.Proficiency in conducting inspections and maintaining an organized workspace.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a metal finishing facility.Ability to work the second shift from 2pm to 10:30pm.Capability to complete orders as per the production schedule.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
