Platform Specialist - Order Management Systems

About the role

As a Platform Specialist – Order Management Systems, you will join our Supply Chain Technology team to provide support across configuration, design, and maintenance of our Manhattan ActiveOmni platform, including assisting with support enquiries as well as enhancement initiatives.

You will support the optimisation of the platform and integration with other platforms and applications, executing day-to-day maintenance & configurations.

You will work collaboratively with the wider Technology team, external vendors, and product owners to assist in making sure roadmaps are aligned to business needs.

What's involved:

Configure the Manhattan ActiveOmni applications in accordance with user requirementsAssist in the administration of the Manhattan ActiveOmni platform in line with business requirements such as but not limited to, maintaining business rules that influence order routing and inventory availability, maintaining user roles, security settings, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets and data integritySupport the continuous development of the platform and working cross functionally with the squad on platform enhancementsProvide guidance to projects on how to meet business requirements using the platform, favouring the use of out-of-the-box capability over customisation.

Who we’re looking for:

You will be an experienced specialist across the Manhattan ActiveOmni platform, with exposure in an implementation and support capacity. You will have a focus on primarily the functional aspects of the platform, but also have a good high-level understanding of how the platform operates from a technical perspective.

You will be able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effectively within an Agile environment. You will be solution oriented and a natural problem solver.   

You’ll need:

Previous experience in operating Manhattan ActiveOmni in a customer order fulfilment environmentExperience in Manhattan ActiveOmni system configuration and rules configurationExperience working within Agile methodologyStrong understanding of the typical business processes and supply chain considerations associated with a high-volume customer order fulfilment function within a retail environmentConceptual knowledge of typical systems that surround an Order Management SystemTertiary educated or relevant experience in a similar development role
