Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling cloud resources (compute, storage, networking), ensuring high availability and performance for mission-critical systems.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for platform architecture, configurations, and procedures to support knowledge transfer and operational efficiency.
Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity and software quality across the platform team.
Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues—providing hands-on support and leading root cause analysis to resolve critical problems efficiently.
**What you should have:**
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent work experience—with significant relevant experience.
5+ years of deep expertise with leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and extensive experience operating in and migrating across public and private clouds (hybrid/multi-cloud environments).
3+ years of proven experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and orchestration, managing large-scale containerized workloads.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi, etc., demonstrating the ability to manage infrastructure programmatically.
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.), with an understanding of how to implement and optimize automated delivery processes.
In-depth understanding of networking, storage, and compute resources in both cloud and on-prem environments, crucial for designing resilient architectures.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk), enabling comprehensive observability of the platform.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, facilitate knowledge sharing, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and build consensus.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver solutions within set deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
