Entry Level Printing Mounter-Plate Maker

 

 

Pay Rate:

$18.45 - $24.11

Hourly Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

Shift: 3pm-11pm

The Job You Will Perform:

Ensures compliance with all safety and quality policies, procedures and standards Responsible for set-up and mounting of Flexo plates Responsible for quality control in the negatives, raw materials, printing plates, mounting tape, and cylinders Responsible for Optical Mounting, proofing, Quality Control, sewing, and shipping Operates and maintains processing equipment and computers; and forklift, as needed. Reads CAD files, interpreting a variety of customer press specifications, building carriers per customer profile Ensures compliance with all safety and quality policies, procedures and standards Responsible for housekeeping duties Able to lift up to 60lbs Operate a Forklift All other duties as assigned

 

 

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

Exceptional focus on safety and quality as well as, participation in required training. Experience as a Flexographic Printing Plate Mounter Proofer or a Mounters Helper desirable, but not required. Experience manufacturing Sheet Print Plates is desirable. Warehouse or Assembly line experience preferred. Experience manufacturing Print Plates is desirable but not required. Experience in graphic arts field is a plus. Ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail including specifications, data tracking and machine profile requirements Shift flexibility and overtime required. Strong mathematical, mechanical, perceptual and visualization skills Must have computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) Must be able to lift and/or move 60lbs and occasionally move up to 70lbs. Positive attitude and a desire to produce quality work as part of a team  Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.
