Temp-to-Hire position$18.61 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Sunday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:00pm)Our client works Printing Materials (Industrial size) and you would be responsible for producing quality plates that are used in the production process.You will use a variety of techniques to make printing plates for use in the large-scale printing processYou are required to follow customer instructions, as detailed on the manufacturing orderVery important for this job: You will inspect artwork, copy, and plates for accuracy to ensure quality.
Plate Maker (Experience Required) Qualifications:
Preferred previous training in the printing trade and at least three months of on-the-job training Education – High School or GEDQuality Control/ Inspection requiredNeed previous computer experienceStand and walk for 8+ hoursWhile you work on the set up you will be required to bend, kneel and the materials to be moved require frequent lifting (Ink, paper, etc) up to 50 lbsSteel toe shoes requiredApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
