**Job Title: Plastics Fabricator** **Job Description** The Plastic Fabricator is responsible for precise fabrication of custom parts and components using customer and engineering supplied drawings and other work instructions. This role requires manual fabrication skills and collaboration with machinists throughout the manufacturing process to ensure project requirements are met or exceeded. **Responsibilities** + Fabricate custom plastic parts and components according to supplied drawings and instructions. + Collaborate with machinists during each phase of the manufacturing process. + Use hot air welding gun and plastic fabrication tools to connect plastic components. + Position clamps and fixtures onto components for fabrication. + Understand and execute the proper order of operations. + Pay close attention to details on drawings and solve practical problems involving various variables. + Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. + Measure components accurately with height gauges and calipers. **Essential Skills** + Assembly + Fabrication + Plastics manufacturing + Blueprint reading + Mechanical skills + Tube bending + Plastics fabrication + Hand tools + Power tools + Plastic welding + Manufacturing **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience preferred but not required + Basic math skills + Proficiency with calipers and protractor tools + Willingness to use a hot air welding gun + Attention to detail and manual dexterity + Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term opportunity with potential for advancement. The work environment includes a clean room, though plastics fabricators and machine operators do not work in the clean room.
