**Aerotek is hiring Plasma Operator** **Shift: 2nd 4pm to 12:30am M-F some Saturdays as needed** **Pay: $23** **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC plasma cutter to create products from drawings for metal components. + Read and interpret technical drawings accurately. + Troubleshoot machine issues and problems during the cutting process. + Set up and adjust machine settings as necessary. + Load and unload materials to and from the plasma cutter. + Ensure accuracy of cuts and inspect finished workpieces for defects and conformance. + Non-climate controlled envirnoment **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Proficiency in operating CNC plasma cutters. + Experience with troubleshooting machine issues. + Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication. + Skill in using plasma torch and other related tools. + Experience in machine operation including plasma cutter, plasma CNC, and forklift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with laser operation and laser cutting. + Ability to perform changeovers efficiently. + Attention to detail in inspecting finished products. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
