 This is a full time, exempt position.
 
Job Responsibilities:
The Office Manager for the Headland, AL Shelling Plant is responsible for leading, developing and performing administrative duties for both peanut procurement and shelling operations.Lead a team of 4-8 direct reports, drive a high-performance team through coaching, performance management and the continuous development of team members.Responsible for managing the office areas of the site to high standards including cleaning contracts, employee office assignments, and office equipment maintenance.Responsible for managing employees working with Payroll & Benefits, Freight payments, Inventories, production, Customer Service, any other shelling and procurement items.Responsible for managing employees working with Accounts Payable and Receivable Duties including processing invoices, closing purchase orders, and maintaining accounts payable records in Maximo/CoupaOversee and adjust the collection point Accounts Receivable data related to producers, buying points and customers.Acts as the Site P-Card Coordinator and Site Records Retention CoordinatorSupports the site in developing and maintaining a strong safety culture including leading/coordinating some EHS programs and providing administrative support such as OSHA man hours reporting.Maintains confidential employee files including HR and medical records.Provides administrative support for the employee hiring process including working with the plant leaders and the corporate recruiting team to post requisitions and sort resumes, coordinates interviews, and acts as the I-9 Coordinator.Develop a system to make sure that all required tasks have a least 2 qualified people cross trained to complete need task.Assist other managers in planning and organizing.Monitor and maintain and improve the efficient shipment processes from our plant and cold storage facilities to ensure we are meeting our customer needs and specifications.Job Requirements: Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with a high degree of professionalism.Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate, and strong teamworking skills.Strong organization, recordkeeping, and time management skills.Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities on short notice.Strong attention to detail.Ability to delegate and follow up on delegation.Fluency in English required.Basic knowledge of the agencies and regulations that have an impact on operations, including USDA, OSHA, Homeland Security, etc.Computer skills which include proficiency with MS Office Suite and other common business applicationsUnderstanding of ADM administrative and safety policies and procedures.Must demonstrate high-level of problem solving, and team working skillsHigh level of Organizational and Inter-personal skills
