Job Responsibilities:

Manage plant operations and customer service for production, maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving.Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.Develop and control profits, plans, and budget.Manage the daily operational relationships with key customers.Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.Manage capital asset maintenance.Establish and monitor overall plant performance for on-time delivery, production and quality standards.Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.Ensures that there is daily, weekly and monthly structure around shop floor schedules, demand/supply plan, etc.Daily monitoring and tracking of production performance.Lead implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to support performance objectives.Provides direction, development and leadership to plant leadership team.Conduct daily production meetings, plant walkthroughs and safety compliance audits; implement corrective action as required.Ensure the operation meets environmental regulations and operating certificates; implement corrective actions as required.Regularly conduct Town Halls, staff meetings, round tables and other effective means of communication to ensure team members are well-informed about critical aspects of the business.
