The Plant Manager is responsible for driving continuous and significant improvements in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and working capital. This will be achieved by developing a world class plant operations organization and methodically implementing the strategic objectives (a unique combination of strategic planning, strategy deployment, lean management and manufacturing techniques).
Drive rapid, significant, and sustainable improvement in on-time delivery, lot size, lead time and cost reductionProvide the leadership necessary for the development and execution of a manufacturing strategyLead regular KPI reviews for the manufacturing teamLeads the development and implementation of the roadmap to achieve breakthrough operating performanceCoach and mentor, an outstanding team.Ensure key manufacturing metrics and key performance indicator systems are consistently trackedContinually evolve manufacturing efficiency and assess opportunities to reduce cost, taking aggressive action to drive financial performanceOversee coordination of the manufacturing function with sales, marketing, design engineering, and other functional organizationsContinually benchmark best practices and drive use of such across responsible operations.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required. An MBA is preferred.10 years manufacturing / operations leadership experience.General Competences:
