We have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Maintenance Engineer in Grangemouth, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant. You will take ownership of the maintenance strategy for our cutting-edge manufacturing facility. This pivotal role involves providing crucial support to our technicians in maintaining essential equipment such as pressure vessels, pumps, pipework, and safety systems. Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Own and deliver the maintenance strategy for our chemical manufacturing plant, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with industry standards.Act as Duty Holder in relation to relevant legislative requirements for your area including management of change assessor.Provide support to technicians in maintaining critical equipment including pressure vessels, pumps, pipework, and safety systems.Monitor and manage maintenance costs, identifying areas for improvement and initiating necessary actions to meet targets.Develop and review maintenance strategies in alignment with production, supply chain, and product strategies.Utilize data analysis to identify and implement reliability improvement programs to ensure optimal equipment performance.Company Description

Qualifications
Solid experience within a similar role with sound knowledge of engineering principles (we would consider candidates with a background in Mechanical or Control/Electrical engineering).Knowledge of relevant legislation.Current best practice maintenance tools and techniques.CMMS knowledge (preferably SAP PM).Degree calibre (preferably) with relevant experience in engineering and maintenance of process plant or related equipment.Experience of dealing with contractors.
