Eaton’s Power Components Division (PCD) is currently seeking a Plant HR Manager. This is an on-site position located at our Beaver, PA manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Eaton is seeking a dynamic leader for its Human Resources Manager at an important legacy manufacturing site supporting the rapidly growing demand for its electrical solutions in Beaver, PA. As an integral part of the site’s leadership team, you will specifically focus on working with a unionized workforce to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and fostering positive labor relations. Additionally, we’ll be looking for you to identify and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, develop, motivate and retain key people. Help us build leader quality to ensure a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives.
With support from your direct manager, the onsite Plant Manager, and functional manager, the Pittsburgh based Division HR Director, you will be empowered to lead your team of four reports to provide HR Functional leadership to approximately 450 employees across the primary union plant and two small non-union satellite locations.

Drive organizational change and deploy HR policies, practices, and programs to build organizational capability, shape our culture to be trusting and inclusive, and ensure we have the best talent to execute on our strategy.Work with the division leadership, functional leaders and site managers to align human resources programs and initiatives with key business, financial and employee engagement objectives, while ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.Provide leadership guidance and mentoring. Develop and implement solutions to organizational challenges by leading/coaching others through change. Counsel and influence leadership regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure all human resource policies and programs are in compliance with local and governmental regulatory requirements.Drive effective development and execution of training programs and practices providing leadership and guidance where necessary.In partnership with the site EHS Manager, foster a culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees to ensure compliance and continue to drive our journey towards a “zero incidents” culture. Drive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees making work exciting, engaging and meaningful for all. Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including acquisition, assessment, performance management and employee development. Drive to help Eaton be a model of inclusion and diversity for our industry, including driving ownership of I&D outreach and activity for both plants.Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility in a progressive HR environment with prior experience working in a manufacturing environmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis now and in the future.Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor relations, Industrial/Organization Psychology from an accredited institution and/or HR certificationPrior labor relations experience Prior experience with talent management and organization effectiveness tools with a professional salaried workforce Leader of people experienceSkills: Experience and proficiency performing advanced analytics in Excel and other tools and translating information into presentations and other communication channels.Strong knowledge of relevant local/state/federal employment laws.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to develop business partnership across diverse groups and functions. Strong drive for results and sense of urgency; data and metrics-driven. Commitment to employee engagement and continuous improvement.Ability to work in a matrixed environment and leverage resources as needed.Demonstrated strategic thinking capability and business acumen.Excellent facilitation/ coaching skills.
