Employee Relations and Business Partnership
Build Relationships and Drive Change: Partner with Team Managers to develop strong relationships, identify solutions, and implement initiatives that drive cultural transformation and align with business objectives.Engage and Empower Employees: Lead proactive initiatives like employee surveys, recognition events, and DEI programs to boost engagement and address areas for improvement. Conduct daily floor walks to foster connections, provide HR support, and detect early concerns.
HR Program Delivery: Implement and support HR and Labor COE services to positively impact the hourly and salaried employee lifecycle.
Lean Problem Solving: Use Lean methodologies to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, solve problems, and drive effective change management.
Effective Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies across all shifts, ensuring employees stay informed and engaged.
Compliance and Community Engagement: Ensure compliance with employment laws and policies while fostering community connections through charitable initiatives and local government interactions.
Data-Driven Insights: Analyze workforce metrics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Labor Relations
Collaborate with Union Partners: Resolve conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters with fairness and consistency. Participate in collective bargaining and ensure accurate contract interpretation and application.Case and Attendance Management: Manage cases and grievances efficiently, oversee payroll and attendance processes, and ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and related policies.
Investigations: Conduct timely and effective investigations, escalating significant issues when needed, and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
Health, Safety, and Wellness: Collaborate with safety teams to address health concerns, support audits, and implement wellness programs.
Hourly Workforce Management: Oversee hiring, reskilling, transfers, apprenticeships, and retirement programs for hourly employees, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
This is an Onsite position. The Team rotates amongst crew patterns as needed. Must be able to work all crews and weekends and holidays as assigned.
