Job Description Summary

Performs the finance manager responsibilities detailed below while supporting the plant’s management team.

Job Description

Oversee and manage the financial record-keeping, reporting, and tax filing for the organization as required

Coordinate all facets of the accounting functions, including with Shared Services.

Produce accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external use, in accordance with GAAP and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Section 404).

Ensure accounting policies and practices align with the organization's goals and are followed.

Own the month end close / quarter end close process- deadlines and reporting requirements

Prepare account reconciliations and financial statements on a monthly basis.

Prepare plant daily and weekly financial performance reporting's with associated deadlines

Coordinate and prepare the annual budget and update forecasts monthly; and associated deadlines

Prepare required schedules and documentation for internal/external auditors as requested

Prepare FP&A as required - Walkdown variance analysis, Key stats, Sales Volume Mix, Pricing, PPV, etc. & etc. reporting's on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Lead the preparation of reports summarizing and forecasting business activity and financial position, covering income, expenses, and earnings.

Prepare necessary materials for plant operations review with BU/Corp Leadership

Prepare Capital Appropriation Requests as necessary

Prepare plant business case financial models as necessary (payback, NPV, IRR, etc.)

Responsible for activity based costing models, part profitability analysis, part/product unit cost requests, and assisting in sales quotation process

Perform annual reviews and merit increases for all direct reports, providing professional development and mentorship.

Analyze and resolve accounting issues.

Required Skills and Education

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of advancing roles and responsibilities within the accounting and finance sectors.

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

MBA with concentration in Accounting or Finance

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsAnalytical, forward-thinking, and methodicalHardworking, self-directed, and respected by peersKnowledgeable in manufacturing, business, accounting, and finance concepts, hardware, operating systems, Microsoft Office, Plex, HFM, and ERP systemsExcellent organizational skillsEager to learn and open-mindedWorks with Safety as a priorityEager to learn and open-minded
