POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Director of Operations, Plant Engineering Manager is responsible for capital planning and assisting in preparing capital budgets, and act as project manager on large capital projects. The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Plant Engineering Manager.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee all facilities related activities through the Maintenance Supervisor.Plan, organize and oversee all large capital projects.Evaluate and recommend new capital equipment utilizing efficiency, automation, and safety.Empower, mentor, and influence employees professional and personal growth.Duties/ Responsibilities:
Oversite and management of physical plant and grounds.Align with the Director of Operations and VP of Operations on growth initiatives, capacity, and future planning.Evaluate, gather data, and recommend new capital equipment and process improvements.Work with process engineering to improve efficiency and productivity.Coordinate contractors and other key service providers on capital projects.Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.Performs other related duties as assigned.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of large manufacturing equipment.Extensive knowledge of building systems.Continuous ImprovementCapital project management.Machine design and capabilitiesLean ManufacturingPlant OperationsPlant SafetyFacility MaintenanceOSHAProficient in 2D and 3D CADEmployee DevelopmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent management and supervisory skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Education and Experience:
