Job Title: Plant Chargehand – Black Rock Mine, Northern Cape

Hire Resolves client is seeking a qualified and experienced Plant Chargehand to oversee operations at their mining facility in the Northern Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of plant operators and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of processing equipment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of plant operators and technicians in the operation of processing equipment Monitor and analyse plant performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and schedule repairs as needed Communicate effectively with plant management and other team members to coordinate daily operations and address any issues that may arise Train and mentor new employees on proper plant operation procedures and safety protocols

Requirements: 

Certificate: Grade 12 (Required) Certificate: Trade Test Artisan – Boilermaker / Fitter (Required) Certificate N3: Engineering studies (Required) Valid Driver’s License Code B / EB (Required) Dover B Symbol (Required) 4 Years’ Post apprenticeship experience in a heavy industrial, mining or plant environment 1 Year Supervisory experience. Valid Driver’s License Code B / EB (Required). Dover “B” symbol (Required).
