**Position Overview** We have an exciting opportunity at our North Kingstown, RI facility for a **Planning Manager!** The successful candidate will lead the planning group in establishing processes and production plans that meet customer requirements, on time delivery goals, inventory objectives and manufacturing efficiency goals. Analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory changes and implement necessary actions to meet targets across all inventory categories. + Develop strong partnerships with internal and external customers to foster continuous improvement activities, enhancing the Global Planning process across all regions. + Collaborate with Account Managers, Product Managers, and Customer Service Representatives to review forecasts and usage details, taking necessary actions to balance production plans. + Lead Operations in planning for current and future capacity requirements. + Oversee the preparation and presentation of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities. + Manage and direct the Planning department, including setting objectives, professional development, and performance management. **REQUIREMENTS** + Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. + 8-10 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including 5+ years of management experience. + In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, MRP, and inventory management. + Strong ability to work independently, prioritize key activities, and manage multiple tasks effectively. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & PowerPoint, for data analysis and reporting/presenting. + Experience in demand forecasting and capacity planning. **Preferred Qualifications** + APICS certification + SAP experience + Strong project management skills and experience with continuous improvement methodologies + Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans + Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and practices **MENTAL & EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS** + **Resilience -** Adapting well in the face of workplace stressors, the ability to work effectively and efficiently in high stress and conflict situations, the ability to remain poised under all circumstances, the ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual. + **Communication -** The ability to successfully and professionally express and exchange ideas and meanings with all levels of employees in the organization, the ability to interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including customers/clients, the ability to work as an integral part of a team, ability to interact effectively with people in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust. + **Reasoning and decision-making -** The ability to understand, remember and follow verbal and written instructions, the ability to reason logically and make sound decisions. + **Comprehension -** The ability to complete tasks without direct supervision, the ability to simultaneously address multiple complete problems. + **Organizational skills -** Ability to multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy, the ability to work and sustain attention with distractions and interruptions, the ability to perform in situations requiring speed, deadlines or productivity quotas. **FUJIFILM Electronics Materials, U.S.A., Inc.,** is part of the Fujifilm family – a company that has been evolving and transforming for more than 85 years.
