Planning Analyst - Performance Management
Specific Responsibilities

This key role within the Performance Management team in Corporate Planning is to support operational performance related competitor intelligence that enables benchmarking APA vs. peers. The role will also involve tracking and analyzing performance of capital programs for Apache’s domestic or international assets, including prior year investment program lookbacks as well full field lookbacks. These analyses and insights are key inputs for capital allocation to assets and portfolio discussions. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Performance Management.

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

Efficiently access and organize large sets of internal and 3rd party well performance, well cost, and other operational data to generate insights on APA’s competitiveness Collaborate within Corporate Planning and other APA functions to track and provide insights on emerging trends in APA’s operating areas such as resource expansions, D&C frontiers, etc. Support various aspects of tracking capital efficiency trends of APA’s assets including running fully burdened economics, performing look back analysis on past asset capital programs, and what-if scenario analyses Perform ad hoc APA performance related analyses to support assets and functions including Corporate Development and Investor Relations Effectively communicate analyses and insights to asset management teams as well executive management Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or related disciplines Proficiency in database skills, Python, data visualization & analytics and statistical analysis preferred 3+ years of E&P industry experience preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders Proficiency of MS software suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Competencies
