Summary/Objective: This Position is responsible for maintaining a structured flow of production support groups by scheduling work for various production groups. This includes, but not limited to, running daily demand reports, hot lists, material cut lists, prioritizing orders, communicating priority to necessary groups, creating/posting/clearing Released Production Orders (RPO’s), use level load practices and ensure proper lead time for internal supply chain, work with OP’s leaders on objectives. This position requires organization skills, strong communication skills, and a strong knowledge base of software/computer programs. Duties and Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and update daily production schedules Run daily reports Communicate with team shortage of materials Communicate with OE, sales, customer service and leaders the production schedule Working Conditions: This is a non-production plant position May sit for several hours at a time. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers. Qualifications: High school degree or GED D365 knowledge preferred but not required Essential Functions: Create, maintain, adjust, and update daily production work schedules Run daily reporting to utilize while assessing priority and ensuring on time delivery Ensure demand level loading/ work load balance to fulfill on time delivery within internal supply chain. Communicate across departments on expected completion of work/ ETA’s. Most work will be computer/ software based and will operate within these applications Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (excel, D365) Knowledge/ experience with software programs (software optimizers) Communication skills (written and verbal) Self-motivation and ability to be accountable for a high level of responsibility Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Other Duties Takes initiative to resolve roadblocks to ensure on time delivery. Communicate with production leaders on ETA’s, lead times, roadblocks. Communicate with materials department as material shortages arise. Takes ownership of production planning.
