Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established company, is looking to hire a Planner for their company based in the Western Cape.
As a Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated time frame.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain merchandise financial plans and forecasts Analyze sales trends, historical data, and market insights to make informed inventory decisions Plan and allocate merchandise assortments to stores or distribution centers based on sales projections and inventory levels Collaborate with buying teams to develop seasonal product strategies and assortment plans Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments to purchase orders to optimize stock levels Review and analyze sales performance, markdowns, and inventory turnover to identify opportunities for improvement Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and resolve any supply chain issues Implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales and maximize profitability

Requirements:

Qualification in Retail, Business or Supply chain Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Planner in the retail industry Proficiency in Microsoft suit Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
