Hire Resolve’s client in the clothing retail industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Planner to join their team in the Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

Sales forecasting Financial and strategic product management skills Develop, implement, and control all aspects of merchandise planning Collaborate with all parts of the business e.g. distribution, store design, etc. Work closely with the fashion Merchandise Buyers and suppliers Systems used internationally in conjunction with bespoke in-house systems Ensuring that the right mix of merchandise reaches the right stores at the right price and on time

Requirements

3 or more years of experience preferably within a fashion retailer Relevant numerical tertiary qualification Advantageous systems e.g. Oracle, ProClarity, and PLM Strong analytical and organizational skills Systems oriented Strong trader instinct Willing and open to contributing ideas for the greater success of the business Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment Agility, flexibility and adaptability. Must be situated in the Western Cape
