Planer Operator - THREE DAY WEEKENDS!

Why you want this job:

Three-day weekends! 4/10’s with a 30-minute lunch Schedule: Monday through Thursday - 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Starting Pay: $22.55/hour This is a temp-to-hire position that has long-term health and benefits package including 401k options with employer matching funds

Essential Functions and Duties:

Serve as Planer backup for other employees Trim end puller and pull chain operator Monitor sticker stacker machine Notify foreman of any quality problems and any mechanical or electrical problems Stack lumber and tally lumber units Fill out inventory tickets and edits computer generated inventory tickets Sort off-grade and damaged lumber Secure lumber units and paper wrap units assisting bander Clean and shovel snow under the planer infeed as needed Operate forklift, floor sweeper and water truck

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, preferred Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, required Knowledge of lumber quality and grades, preferred Experience operating machinery, preferred
